Hard Rock Stadium (Sun Life Stadium) is home to the Miami Dolphins NFL AFC team in Miami, Florida. The arena is out on 347 Don Shula Dr, Miami Gardens, FL 33056. The stadium is also home to the Miami Hurricanes, The Orange Bowl, concerts, many Super Bowls, and more all year around.
Here are the parking tips at Hard Rock Stadium.
Official Park at the Stadium
If you plan to park in the Hard Rock Stadium parking lots, you can expect to pay around $30 for the cheapest parking.
Is There RV Parking at Hard Rock Stadium?
I got confirmation from the staff at Hard Rock Stadium that there is no longer RV parking at the venue as of 12-20-2023. There may have been a time where fans could bring their RV to the game, but that is no longer an option. Fans can’t buy any RV parking ahead of time on TicketMaster or any type of website.
Also, I had a fan reach out to me about if their vehicle that is 20 feet long can park in the orange section for tailgating. The official statement from Hard Rock Stadium is below.
Yes, you can park in any of the Orange or Yellow lots as they allow tailgating. Be aware that due to the size of your vehicle, you will have a smaller tailgating space and you may not use the surrounding spaces to compensate for the space your vehicle takes up.
Hard Rock Stadium Accessible Parking
There are ADA parking spaces for fans to use when coming to Dolphins Stadiums for NFL games and events. ADA parking lots are at gate A, C, E, and G at the football arena. Dolphins’ fans need to present a valid parking pass and state license plate to leave their vehicle in the parking lots.
If you have any questions on where the accessible parking spaces are, you can ask the parking staff working the event.
Should I Take Public Transportation?
Fans looking to take public transportation to Don Shula Drive (Dolphins Stadium) can use local bus routes to and from the city. The bus lines and routes that have stops near the stadium are 99 and 297. Route 297 from Earlington Height Station will bring fans directly to the stadium. This bus service operates two hours before kick-off and two hours after the final whistle.
In addition to taking the bus, fans can also use a rideshare program like Uber or Lyft to get to the venue as well. Rideshare picks up, and drop-offs and pick ups happen in Gate 4 and lot 14. It’s about a 30 minute Uber or Lyft drive from South Beach where the Miami Heat play, so not bad if you are staying in that area.
Can you Tailgate at the Stadium?
Tailgating in the orange and yellow lots is part of the fan experience when coming to a Dolphins football game at the venue. Parking lots open four hours before kick-off, so it’s best to arrive early and take part in the tailgating festivities in the parking lots. One tip is to get to the stadium parking lots early to set up your tailgating area with friends.
