How Does this Website Make Money?

There is no cost to the user to visit The Stadium Reviews. Below is the way the website earns income if you are curious

  • Mediavine Ads: Those display ads you see on your website earn the website money
  • SpotHero: On my parking pages, I might have a SpotHero map embed on them. If you click on that and purchase, I may receive a commission. However, I’m not sponsored by SpotHero, so my thoughts and opinions on the service are my own
  • Amazon: On my bag policy pages, I may have links out to clear bags that you can purchase for your next event. I may receive a commission if you purchase these items.

I don’t accept any financial offers from any business to feature them on the website. This website was built by a fan of sports, so my recommendations on food, the bag, or parking come from myself, Greg Kristan.

If you do want to support this website, feel free to share this website with your friends! You can also follow the website on my social media accounts in the footer at the bottom of the website. Finally, you can subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date on where I’m going next!

Why Did the Business / Website Start?

The website has been around since 2019. The original goal of the website was to share my experience at different MLB venues. Everything changed when I went to a baseball game in Cleveland and thought the food was so good that I had to blog about it. The next day, I went to a game in Detroit and ran into issues with my bag and grew frustrated that there wasn’t helpful documentation on the bag policy, food items, or parking situation at stadiums. With that frustration, I decided to document everything on this website to help others who will be traveling to games.

The Community

There was a technical glitch on this website where my comment section was blocked by my settings in GoDaddy. That issue is now fixed, so anyone can leave a comment on this site. I can’t tell you how many emails and phone calls I have gotten over the months (and years) from people interacting with me on this website. Now, I’m looking to build a community where people can share about any topic that is on my website.

Feel free to leave a comment today! I love interacting with people who have a passion for sports!

Why Cover the Bag Policy?

The Stadium Reviews Bag Policy

I’ve been to many different stadiums where the bag policy is different. What I’ve concluded is that most venues that don’t have a clear bag policy today will have one soon. I update my bag policy pages for every venue multiple times throughout the year since places keep changing their rules.

With that being the case, I wanted to give my recommendation to fans who will be traveling to a game. While I do list off the bags that can enter venues, I give my personal recommendation from experience. That experience is that bringing a clear fanny pack to a game tends to be the best option if you need to bring a bag to the venue. The security review is quick and I have never had an issue bringing that into any stadium.

Why Cover the Food?

Through social media, more and more people are taking photos of their food at games. With that happening, venues today are upping their game to deliver great food and drink choices for fans. With that being the case, I want to highlight what you can expect to eat and drink at your next stadium visit.

Why Cover Parking?

I’ve gotten numerous calls and emails from fans frustrated with the price of parking. To help combat that, I partnered up with SpotHero to offer unofficial parking options for fans to consider. The unofficial parking options tend to be cheaper than the official parking spaces at the venue.

Why Allow Comments?

Starting in November 2023, I enabled comments back on the website for two reasons

  1. I was getting multiple calls a week from people looking for help or suggestions. The problem was that I needed to look on my own site to see what I said, which lead to a delay in my answer. To help speed up this process I added comments

  1. Comments from users help others. If someone has a question or wants to share their experience, I think others would find that interesting. Therefore, if something had a bad experience with the food, parking, or bag policy at an arena, I want that person to share that
