Parking at American Airlines Arena Miami Heat

American Airlines Arena (also known as AAA) is home to the Miami Heat NBA team in downtown Miami, Florida. The arena is out on 601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. The NBA arena sits 14 miles south of Hard Rock Stadium where the Miami Dolphins play. The venue is also three miles west of Marlins Park where the Miami baseball team plays. Outside of NBA games, American Airlines Arena hosts many events all year round. Many concerts take place including Marc Anthony, Ariana Grande, Marco Antonio Solis, Chainsmokers, Juan Luis Guerra, The Creator, Celine Dion, Post Malone, Gloria Trevi, and of course the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina show. The main ADA accessible entrance is Gate 3 which is used for pick-up and drop-off for Heat fans. Handicap parking options for games are at a first-come-first-served basis at the P2 garage. If you have any questions on parking, you can ask the friendly parking staff outside the venue.

Miami Heat parking lots will vary in price depending on how far you are willing to walk. There are about 6k  parking lots that circle the stadium, but arrive early if you can. The average price for parking will be around $25, but you can find parking lots for $15 at the 54 NE 2nd St. – Lot.

 

Should I Take Public Transportation?

Fans looking to take public transportation to the stadium can use the Metrorail to get to Government Center Station. From that Metrorail spot, you can transfer to MetroMover’s Omni Loop and take it to Park West Station. Fans can also use a rideshare program like Uber or Lyft to get to the arena. Heat fans can use Gate 6 which is the official drop-off and pick-up area for Uber and Lyft rides. Bus and Taxi drop-offs and pick-ups happen at Gate 3 at the NBA arena.
