Wells Fargo Center is home to the NBA Philadelphia 76ers and NHL Philadelphia Flyers teams at 3601 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. The venue has a strict bag policy that only allows fans to bring in small clutch bags that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. The only exception to the bag rule is if you need to bring in a medical or diaper bag into the venue, which in that case, can’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″. Otherwise, all traditional bags like backpacks and laptop bags can’t come into the arena with fans.

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Tools
  • Outside alcohol
  • Drones
  • Skateboards
  • Selfie sticks
  • Tripods
  • Animals not for ADA-purposes
  • Coolers
  • Outside food and drink. (As a note, there are exceptions to this rule. If you need to bring outside food into the venue for medical reasons, you can do so if you put them into a clear plastic bag.)
  • Large banners

 

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Wells Fargo Center for Fans to Use?

There are lockers on 11th Street that fans can rent to put their bags in at Wells Fargo Center if they can’t bring them into the arena. The locker prices will vary depending on the bag size you need to check-in. Prices will range from $5-15 for each bag you must check in at this area. As a note, these lockers run on a first-come and first-served basis, so get to this locker storage area two hours before your event to get a locker.

 

Another option that fans can take if their bag can’t come into the arena is to leave them in their car. The bag policy at Wells Fargo Center is strict, so if your bag can’t come into the venue after reading this guide, leave it in your car. Otherwise, you must pay for a locker to store them in at the arena.
