Wells Fargo Center is home to the NBA Philadelphia 76ers and NHL Philadelphia Flyers teams. The arena’s address is at 3601 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Outside of hosting sporting events, the arena also has concerts and other types of shows year-round to enjoy too.
Here are the parking tips when driving to the venue!
Official Parking around Wells Fargo Center
Parking lots A-H surround Wells Fargo Center, which fans can use to park for a game or concert. These are the closest parking lots to the venue, so you should choose these if you don’t want to walk that far. You can click this link to see the parking map around Wells Fargo Center. Also, parking prices at these locations will vary depending on the event you see. In 2023, you can expect parking to start at $35. However, if there is a big concert or playoff game, you can expect parking prices to increase.
My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero
I used SpotHero when I went to Philly (for a Philadelphia Phillies game) and saved about half on parking since I parked about one mile from the stadium. Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank Park, and Lincoln Financial Field are in one giant parking lot, so the parking situation is the same for all three. One mile might sound like a long walk, but it was not since the gigantic parking lot is home to the venues. Even if you park in the official lots, you may still have a ten-minute walk if you park far from the venue. My recommendation and experience say you can pay half as much on parking if you park at an unofficial lot about a mile from the venue.
Wells Fargo Center Handicap Parking Spots
The 76ers offer accessible parking options for fans to use at their venue’s parking lot. Accessible parking is adjacent to entrances on the east, west, and south sides of the Wells Fargo Center. Fans will need to display a valid handicap parking pass and placard to park in these handicap parking spaces. Finally, fans can direct any ADA parking question to the parking attendants at the venue.
Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?
Tailgating in the parking lots at Wells Fargo Center is popular before a hockey or basketball game. In addition to tailgating in the parking lots at the venue, fans can visit the local bars before or after a game. Some bars to visit include Victory Beer Hall, NBC Sports Arena, and PBR Bar and Grill.
Also, be sure to check out the Wells Fargo Center food guide! Along with that, visit the Wells Fargo Center Bag Policy Guide to see what fans can bring into the arena.
Should I Take Public Transportation?
Fans looking to take public transportation on game day can use the SEPTA Broadway Street Subway. The last stop on the orange line is the Sports and Entertainment complex, which is where the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers play. SEPTA Broad Street Line trains leave from Pattison Avenue after the final whistle. In addition to taking the bus or subway, fans can use a ride share program like Uber and Lyft to get to and from the venue.
