TIAA Bank Field Bag Policy

TIAA Bank Field (formerly known as EverBank Field) is home to the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team at 1 TIAA Bank Field Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The TIAA Bank Field clear bag policy allows clear, PVC, or vinyl bags that don’t exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ into the arena. Fans can also bring in small clutch bags that fit inside your hand.

Approved Bags

Fans should know that all NFL venues are adopting the clear bag policy. Therefore, getting a clear bag for a Jags game or another football game is the way to go if you need to bring a bag to a match. Below are the types of bags that fans can bring into EverBank Field for a game or concert.

 

• A clear single-compartment tote bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x” 12″
• One-gallon clear bag/Ziploc bag/ freezer bag
• ADA-specific bags
• Medical bags (However, bring in a clear bag, if possible. Otherwise, you will need to reach out to the Jacksonville Jaguars staff weeks before your game to let them know you will be bringing in a medical bag into the game that is not clear.)
• A small clutch bag that does not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ (Essentially, you want this type of bag to fit the size of your hand)
• Clear diaper bags

 

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

I’ve brought my clear fanny pack to several football stadiums without any issues. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ in size, which means it is below the size limit. Second, the bag itself is clear, which means that it passes the clear bag policy that venues have today. Third, I like the look and feel of the bag, so I tend to recommend it for people looking to bring a bag the game.

How Does the TIAA Bank Field Security Staff Review Bags?

Jaguars fans arriving at TIAA Bank Field for a football game or another event will undergo a metal detector screening at the entrance gate before entering the arena. Fans with a bag will line up in the bag check line at the gate. The bag check includes a review of the type of bag you are bringing in, its size of it, and the content inside of the pack. Assuming that your bag is compliant and has no issues, you will get it back to enter the venue.

 

Can You Purchase Clear Bags at TIAA Bank Field?

Fans can buy NFL-compliant bags at TIAA Bank Field at the North End Zone. The North End Zone at TIAA Bank Field is between gates 2 and 3. You will see signs outside the stadium indicating what gate you are at, so finding the North End Zone will be easy to find.

 

What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into TIAA Bank Field?

Fans heading to TIAA Bank Field should know that certain things can’t come inside the venue. Below are some of the most obvious prohibited items the security staff won’t allow inside the venue. • Clear bags exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
• Non-compliant bags via the NFL clear bag policy. Backpacks, clear backpacks, diaper bags, purses, seat cushions, binocular cases, fanny packs, mesh bags, and more.)
• Clothing with profanity on it
• Coolers
• Drones
• Weapons of any kind
• Laser pointers
• Laptops
• Noisemaker
• Seat cushions
• Umbrellas

 

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at TIAA Bank Field?

There is a locker storage area for fans to use if they need to leave their bags somewhere before entering the stadium. The locker storage is called the Atlantic Self Storage Fan Lockers. These lockers come on a first-come and first-served basis, so plan to arrive two hours before kickoff to get one of these spaces for your bag if you know you can’t bring it into the stadium.

 

If you plan on tailgating in the parking lots before a football game or concert, plan to leave those bags in a car before walking to the stadium. The NFL clear bag policy states that traditional backpacks and coolers can’t enter the venue, so leave them in your car before walking to the stadium gates.
