Nissan Stadium Bag Policy

Nissan Stadium is home to the Tennessee Titans NFL team at 1 Titans Way, Nashville, TN 37213. The clear bag policy at Nissan Stadium allows clear bags to enter the venue that doesn’t exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″. Fans can also bring in non-transparent bags that are wallets, wristlets, and more that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. Also, there are exceptions to this rule, but for the most part, try and only bring a clear bag into the venue.

Approved Bags

Buy a clear single-compartment bag for your next Tennessee Titans game! Nissan Stadium, like all other NFL venues, has a clear bag policy that is strictly enforced. Therefore, getting a clear bag for a Titans game gets you into more NFL venues if you travel during the season. Below are the types of bags that fans can bring into the arena for game day or event.

 

• A clear single-compartment tote bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x” 12″
• One-gallon clear bag/Ziploc bag/ freezer bag
• Clear fanny packs
• ADA-specific bags
• Medical bags/diaper bags. As a note, only bring in a clear bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x” 12″ if possible. Otherwise, the stadium security staff will need to review these bags more since they don’t comply with the clear bag policy.
• A small clutch bag that does not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. (Essentially, you want this type of bag to fit the size of your hand)
• Clear diaper bags

 

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

I’ve brought my clear fanny pack that measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ to plenty of football stadiums without having any problems. For the most part, the security team at football venues do a visual check of your bag since the bag is clear. What I like about my clear fanny pack is that it is not bulky, which is important since I tend to walk around stadiums with it during a game.

How Does the Nissan Stadium Security Staff Review Bags?

Fans arriving at Nissan Stadium for a football game or concert will undergo a metal detector screening at the entrance before entering the venue. Fans who have a bag with them will go through a bag inspection. The bag inspection reviews the content inside the bag and the type of bag you are trying to bring into the arena. Remember, Nissan Stadium has a clear bag policy, so traditional backpacks can’t enter the arena.

 

What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into Nissan Stadium?

Fans heading to Nissan Stadium for a concert or game should be aware that certain things can’t come into the venue with them. Some of the items that the security staff won’t allow inside the arena are below. • Outside food and drinks
• Alcoholic beverages

• Strollers

• Animals not for ADA purposes

 

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Nissan Stadium?

Yes, there are storage lockers at Nissan Stadium for fans to rent for $10 if they can’t bring their bag into the venue. Head to Gate 3 and Lot T to use those storage lockers to put your bags (or prohibited items) in if they can’t enter the venue. As a heads up, there is only a limited amount of space for bag locker storage, so plan to get here two hours before your event to get a space before they fill up.

 

If you plan to tailgate in the parking lots before a game or concert and have coolers and backpacks with you, plan to leave them in your car before walking to the stadium entrance gate for your event. The stadium security will not allow backpacks or coolers to enter the Titans’ venue for any reason.

 

Finally, if you can’t bring your bag into the game, see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. There are plenty of hotels within walking distance of the Titans venue that you can see if they can protect your property. Expect to pay around $10 for a hotel to watch your bag while you are at the stadium.
