Camden Yards Bag Policy

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the Major League Baseball home of the Baltimore Orioles at 333 W Camden St, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. The bag policy at the MLB ballpark is that traditional backpacks are no longer allowed in the stadium. Instead, clear plastic bags that don’t exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″, fanny packs, plastic bags, and medical bags are acceptable to enter the venue.

My Clear Bag Recommendation + My Experience

I’ve been to Oriole Park at Camden Yards a few times now and can confirm that clear bags are what can enter the venue. I’ve seen fans bring clear tote bags and fanny packs into the venue without any issue. Therefore, my clear fanny pack that I bring to most venues won’t have any problems getting into the stadium. The clear fanny pack that I bring to different locations is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″.

How Does Oriole Park at Camden Yards Review Your Bag?

Fans entering Camen Yards must go through a metal detector before scanning their ticket for entry. If a fan has a bag with them, the security team will review that bag separately. The inspection will check the size of the bag, ensuring it follows the clear bag policy, and examine the items inside it to ensure they can enter the stadium. If the bag or items can’t enter the stadium, there are lockers at the venue to rent out to put them in before going in for a game.

 

What Items Can’t You Bring into Oriole Park at Camden Yards?

There is an extensive prohibited items list at Camden Yards for fans to be familiar with. Below are some of the most common items that can’t go into the stadium. However, visiting the official prohibited items list from the Orioles is in your best interest to ensure the rules stay the same before your next visit.

• Air Horns
• Glass bottles
• Hard-sided coolers
• Weapons of any kind
• Drugs
• Drones
• Tripods

 

What Should You Do If Your Bag Is Too Big to Enter Camden Yards?

If your bag is too big or needs to be more compliant with the bag policy at Oriole Park, fans can use the lockers on the premise to store their belongings. The Binbox lockers are at Gate H near the Warehouse, and Gate C. Fans will need to download the Binbox app to access these lockers.

 

If these Bingbox lockers are sold out for your game, your next best solution is to leave your belongings in your car if you drive to the venue.

 

However, if you take public transportation to the venue and can’t rent a locker, you can see if any of the nearby hotels will watch your stuff. Most hotels charge a small fee to lock your belongings in a room. However, depending on a big matchup like the home opener, hotels may be unable to take in your bag if they don’t have the space in their storage area if the hotel is fully booked.
