Are There Prohibited Items that Can’t Enter America First Field?
Fams coming to the RSL stadium for a soccer game should check out the list of prohibited items. If a fan tries to bring in an item that can’t enter the arena, the security team won’t allow it, which means you can’t enter the stadium on game day. Below are some items that can’t come in for RSL home games.
- Any non-clear bag (Exceptions are made here for medical/diaper bags). However, bags that can’t go into the arena include backpacks, laptop bags, duffle bags, coolers, camera bags, luggage bags, and more)
- Any clear bag that exceeds the size of 14″ x 14″ x 6″
- Confetti
- Drones
- Pets (However, service animals can come into the arena)
- Any outside food or drink (Baby food and similar types of food can enter the arena. Consider putting these items into a clear plastic ziplock bag)
- Noisemakers
- Weapons of any kind
- Laser pointers
- Beach balls
- Aerosol cans
What Should Fans Do if Their Bag Can’t Enter the Soccer Stadium?
If your bag can’t enter with you for a soccer game at America First Field, you will need to leave it in your car. If you are tailgating in the parking lots before a game and have items like coolers or similar bags, put them in your vehicle before lining up at the gate for the game. These bags can’t enter the arena, and the security team will make you dispose of them or put them back in your car before getting back in line to enter the stadium.
If you can’t leave your bag in a car, you can always see if a nearby hotel can hold onto it. Multiple hotels are within walking of America First Field. Most charge a small fee to hold onto your stuff while at the soccer game.

Regarding bringing outside food into RSL, for the most part, you can’t. The only exception to the outside food rule is if you bring in baby food or something similar for medical reasons. However, fans can bring in one water bottle that is factory sealed into the stadium.
