Allegiant Stadium Bag Policy

Allegiant Stadium is home to the NFL team, Las Vegas Raiders, at 3333 Al Davis Way, Las Vegas, NV 89118. The bag policy at Allegiant Stadium for a game or concert allows clear bags to enter the stadium as long as they don’t exceed 12″ x 6″ x12″ in size. Along with that, small purses and similar types of clutch bags that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″ can enter the arena.

Here is the complete Allegiant Stadium bag policy guide for your next event at the Nevada football venue. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

The entrance security team only allows approved clear bags to enter the venue. However, there are exceptions to this rule for medical bags along with small clutches. Here are the types of bags that can enter the venue below.

  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • A clear fanny pack
  • Medical Bags. (These types of bags don’t need to be clear if they are for medical reasons. However, bringing in a clear bag helps the security team with their review and reduces the chance of the bag being turned away at the gate.)
  • Small clutch bags/ small purses that don’t exceed the size of 4″ x 6″

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

I bring my clear fanny pack (11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″) to football games these days. Venues today only want to permit clear bags, so my clear fanny pack checks that box. Also, what I like about bringing a fanny pack to a game is that I can wear it across my chest, which makes it easy to walk with in and around stadiums. Plus, it is not very bulky, so it is not annoying to wear as you walk around.

Here is a video of my going into more detail why I recommend this type of bag.

Fans coming out to the Las Vegas Raiders venue on game day (or for a concert) will go through a metal detector screening inspection at the entrances. Fans with a bag will undergo an additional bag check policy screening, where the staff will review their bag at the gate. There is a clear bag policy in place, but there are exceptions for fans who want to bring a small or medical bag into the venue.

Is There a Locker Storage Area at Allegiant Stadium for Fans to Use?

Is There a Locker Storage Area at Allegiant Stadium for Fans to Use

One of the perks of Allegiant Stadium is that if your bag can’t enter the venue, there are three bag check lockers you can rent directly at the arena to hold your stuff in while you are at the game. The three bag check areas are at the East Bag Check in Lot E, West Bag Check at 5455 Polaris Avenue, and North Bag Check in Lot N. There is a cost of $20 per bag if you decide to use these lockers for your stuff. However, it is worth noting that locker storage comes on a first-come and first-served basis, so plan to arrive early. Please visit this link to see where on the map the bag check stations are.

If you drive to the game and can’t bring your bag into the arena, you can always leave it in your car. One tip is that if you tailgate in the parking lots before a game, consider leaving your bags in your car before getting in line to enter the venue. The stadium security staff does not allow hard-sided coolers into the venue, so your best bet is to leave it in your car. Otherwise, you might miss kickoff if you need to head back to your vehicle to put your bag in there before getting back in line to enter the stadium.

Finally, you can see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. Most of the time, there are no issues with getting lockers at the stadium to rent, but you can get a better deal than $20 per bag at the stadium if you go somewhere else. Most hotels charge a flat rate to hold onto bags while you are at the game.
