Allianz Field Parking

Allianz Field is home to the Minnesota United FC Major League Soccer team. In addition to being home to the MLS team, the venue was also home to St. Thomas vs St. John’s college football game in 2019. The venue is at 400 Snelling Ave N, St Paul, Minnesota.

Here are my parking tips when driving to the venue for a soccer match!

Official Parking around Allianz Field

There are multiple parking lots that surround Allianz Field to use for a match. Those lots include Lot A, Lot C, North Lot, Old National Bank Lot, Health East, Total Tool Supply, and more. You can visit the official parking page of Allianz Field to see the entire parking map. Parking rates at these lots will vary depending on where you park and the event.

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

I’ve been using SpotHero for years and always recommend fans use it when traveling to a game. From my experience, I save about 30% on parking since I’m willing to park about ten minutes away from the arena. Also, I can reserve my parking space beforehand, so I don’t need to worry about looking for parking when heading to the game. I can put the garage or lot I reserved into my GPS, and then head right there for parking.

Fans looking for ADA parking spaces at Allianz Field can use the Midpointe Event Center Lot. Midpointe Event Center Lot sits directly next to the soccer stadium between Central Ave W and Pascal St North. In addition to that handicap lot, fans can also use the ADA drop-off and pick-up zone if that is easier.

Any additional questions on ADA parking can email tickets@mnufc.com. It is best to email a few weeks before your game to coordinate anything with the staff at Allianz Field to ensure a hassle-free day at the field!

Is there Tailgating in the Parking Lots?

Can You Bring Outside Food into Allianz Field

There is tailgating at the State Fairgrounds parking lots. Fans tend to arrive a few hours before kickoff to partake in the festivities before the game,

In addition to tailgating, there are plenty of bars that fans like to visit before and after a game near the venue. Some local bars include The Midway Saloon, Black Hart of Saint Paul, and Burning Brothers Brewing.

Check out the Allianz Field Bag Policy to see what you can and can’t bring into the venue. Also, visit the Allianz Field Food guide to see what you can eat at the stadium.

Should I Take Public Transporation to the Venue?

Fans looking to take public transportation to the venue can use the METRO Green Line and A-Line. For the METRO Green Line and A-Line, the stop that you want to use is Snelling Ave Station, which sits next to the soccer stadium.

Also, fans who want to take the bus to the game can use routes 16, 21, and 84. In addition to that, there are 400 bike stations at the venue if you choose to ride your bike to the game.

Finally, fans can use a rideshare program to get to and from the arena. The official pick up and drop off area is on One Way Road near Lot A.
