There is General parking that surrounds the stadium is every direction. Parking rates tend to vary in price depending on which parking lot you park at. For example, Lot H tends to be the most expensive since it is directly next to the venue. My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

My experience has always been great with using SpotHero. I’ve been using this service for years and tend to find ways to save about 30% on parking compared to what the lot nearest a venue is going for. My tip is that I look at map on the website or app and look for a parking garage (or lot) that is about a ten-minute walk to my destination. Usually, the price for these areas is much cheaper than anything that is being advertised for next to the venue. I personally don’t mind walking if I can save money, which I can then use to buy more food and drinks at the arena.

 

My recommendation is to at least review what the unofficial parking prices are going for before driving to the venue. I also recommend that if you see a good deal to then purchase it because parking availability may change when you get there.

 

United Center Handicap Parking Spots

Lot G South offers ADA parking spots for fans to use when coming to United Center. The location of this parking lot is between Damen Avenue and Monroe Street. Fans will need a valid handicap parking pass to use these parking spaces for all events. Finally, fans should be aware that ADA parking can fill up quickly for certain events. Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lot?

There is no tailgating at the venue’s parking lots, but plenty of bars are nearby to visit before a game. Some bars near the stadium include Budweiser Select Brew Pub, Queenie’s Supper Club, and Rhine Hall Distillery. In addition to those bars, fans also visit Cobra Lounge, Output Lounge, and Hawkeye’s Bar and Grill before and after a game.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

There are plenty of ways to move around downtown Chicago to get to the arena. Fans can take the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) orange, green, purple, and brown lines to the arena. On game days, fans can take the #19 express bus to the arena as well.

 

Finally, fans can use Uber and Lyft to get to and from the arena. The official pick-up and drop-off locations are in Zone A, Zone D, and Zone F of the venue. Each of these zones is about a block away from the arena, so it’s a very short walk.
