American Airlines Center (AAC) is home to the Dallas Mavericks NBA team and NHL Dallas Stars team in downtown Dallas, Texas. The arena sits out on 2500 Victory Ave, Dallas, TX 75219. Depending on how far you are willing to walk to the venue, you can find great parking rates. Parking at 1333 N Stemmons FWY is a cheaper option, but it’s a twelve-minute walk to the stadium. In addition, if you are looking for $10 rates, is to use 2000 McKinney Ave and 1100 McKinney Ave for parking.

If you are looking for official parking, you can choose from one of the 5,000 spots around the stadium. Parking rates will be more expensive than the garages in the city, but you are closer to the venue. Lot M, F, E, and K go for $15-20 per parking space, but these lots fill up quickly, so get to the arena early.

 

Should I Take Public Transportation?

Fans looking to take public transportation to the stadium can use the Trinity Railway Express or local bus routes. Taking the TRE (Trinity Railway Express) can use any station between Fort Worth’s T& P Station and Dallas Union Station. Fans looking to take the bus can use route 49 to get to the stadium.

 

Finally, fans can use the two dedicated pickup areas, American Airlines Center and Olive Street,  for Uber and Lyft rides. All things considered, you should consider using Uber or Lyft if you don’t want to deal with finding a parking space. On the other hand, you may experience long pick up lines for other fans looking for their ride after the game, so it has it’s pros and cons. Fans should consider leaving the game early to call their ride before it becomes too crowded after a game.
