My Experience and Recommendation for Food

My Experience and Recommendation for Food at Caesars Superdome

I went to the Caesars Superdome for a game against the New England Patriots and thought the food choices at the stadium were authentic and pretty good. I’m a Jambalaya fan, so I got that during the game. I also picked up alligator sausage. My recommendation is that if you visit Caesars Superdome for a game, go for something very New Orleans via the food choice. My experience of getting the jambalaya at the stadium made me like that food.

Another recommendation I can give fans coming to the venue is to get in line for their food about ten minutes before the end of a quarter. The hallways are narrow at the stadium, especially if you sit higher in the concourse. When the quarter ends, everyone floods into the concourse to get food, creating a long line wherever you go. Try to leave before the end of a quarter to get in line for food before everyone shows up.

Overall, the food at Caesars Superdome is a treat for anyone coming to the venue for a game. The food at this stadium might be some of my favorite I have ever had at any sporting event. However, that bias comes from my love of the food in New Orleans.

Can you Bring Outside Food into Caesars’ Superdome?

According to the New Orleans Saints website, all outside food and drinks can’t be brought into the stadium. You can visit that link to get the entire breakdown of what is allowed when coming to the stadium.

Can you Tailgate and Eat Before a Game?

Many fans head to Champions Square to pregame before a Saints game. You are also in the city of New Orleans, so you will find plenty of bars and restaurants near the NFL Stadium to check out before a home game.

From what I remember, fans were also tailgating before the game in the parking lots outside the stadium. However, the Champions Square area seemed to be the place to be before a game.

Conclusion: Caesars Superdome Food

In summary, I love the food at Caesars Superdome. Generally, the stadium’s food options are top-notch if you enjoy cuisines like Jambalaya. I got the Jambalaya during the game and loved it so much that now I order that food whenever I see it on a menu at a restaurant.

Outside of the Jambalaya, I recommend picking up the alligator sausage. The alligator sausage is a bit chewier than a traditional sausage and spicier.
