Barclays Center Food

Barclays Center is home to the Brooklyn Nets NBA team and New York Liberty WNBA team. The venue opened up in downtown Brooklyn in 2012 at 620 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217. Here are the food and drink options at Barclays Center for your next game.

Also, I’ve been to Barclays Center for multiple Brooklyn Nets games, so I share my food and drink recommendations too.

My Recommendation on Barclays Center Food

I’ve been to the Barclays Center twice for a Brooklyn Nets basketball game. The only food I’ve had at the venue is the Nathan’s Hot Dog, so that is my recommendation on what food to get. I’m a fan of Nathan’s Hot Dogs because I would always get them at Yankee Stadium growing up, so it is more of a nostalgia thing than anything else.

However, from what I can see in photos, there are plenty of new and exciting food options to get at the Barclays Center.

Can You Bring Outside Food into Barclays Center?

can you bring outside food into barclays center

According to Barclayscenter.com, fans can’t bring any outside food into the venue. However, there are exceptions if you have specific medical needs with certain foods. Be sure to visit that link from Barclays Center to learn more.

Also, be sure to visit the Barclays Center Bag Policy guide to see what you can and can’t bring into the venue.

Popular Bars Nearby

There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the Barclays Center that are worth checking out before or after a game. Below are some of those places to consider.

  • That Bar
  • Uncle Barry’s
  • McMahon’s Public House

Conclusion: Barclays Center Food

In summary, I’ve been to the Barclays Center twice for a Brooklyn Nets basketball game. The only food I’ve had at the stadium is the Nathan’s Hot Dog, so I don’t have much experience to give besides that. I still recommend that Hot Dog if you are going to the game, but there are other options that are at the stadium worth having.
