Vivint Arena (formerly known as Vivint Smart Home Arena) is home to the Utah Jazz NBA team at 301 S Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. The Vivint Arena bag policy only allows fans to bring in small clutches and wristlets that don’t exceed 4″ x 6″ x 2″. The only exception to the bag rule is that fans can bring in diaper bags and medical bags that don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″. Otherwise, traditional backpacks and large purses can’t come into the arena with fans.

How Does the Vivint Arena Security Staff Review Bags?
Fans arriving at Vivint Arena for a basketball game or concert will undergo a metal detector screening at the entrance before entering the arena. Fans with a bag will have that go through a bag inspection at the gate. The bag inspection reviews the size of the bag and the content inside of it. If there are no issues with your bag or the content inside, you will get it back to enter the stadium for the event.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Vivint Arena?
If your bag can’t enter the venue for an arena event, you must bring it back to your car and leave it there. After that, you must get back in line to access your event’s area.
If you took public transportation to the game and needed a place to store your bag, see if a nearby hotel or bar can watch your stuff. There are plenty of hotels and bars throughout Salt Lake City to visit to see if they watch your bag for you. Most hotels and bars charge a small bag-holding fee.
