Truist Field Bag Policy

Truist Field is home to the Charlotte Knights Triple-A Minor League Baseball team for the Chicago White Sox MLB team. The bag policy at the venue allows fans to bring in a single-compartment bag that does not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″ in size. However, the exception to the size rule is if you need to bring in a medical bag, diaper bag, or ADA bag to the game.

Here is the complete Truist Field bag policy guide for your next Charlotte Knights baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

The Charlotte Knights MiLB ballpark, like most other venues, has a strict clear bag policy for fans to adhere to. However, there are minor exceptions to this clear bag rule. Below are the different bags you can bring into the stadium for a game.

  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″
  • A clear one-gallon Ziplock bag
  • Diaper bags
  • Medical bags
  • ADA bags
  • Small wristlets and similar types of bags

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

My Clear Bag Recommendation

I try and only bring my clear fanny pack that is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ into venues these days for a few reasons. First, I’ve never had an issue bringing it inside any stadium, so I know wherever I go that has a clear bag policy rule will accept it. Second, the bag is small, so I don’t have to worry about it exceeding the size limit at venues. Third, I like how my fanny pack is not bulky, so it is not annoying to wear it as I walk around stadiums with it.

Below is my video recommending what clear bag to bring into stadiums.

How Does the Truist Field Team Review Bags?

How Does the Truist Field Team Review Bags

Fans arriving at Truist Field for a Charlotte Knights baseball game will go through a metal detector screening before scanning their ticket. Fans with a bag will have that go through a bag check at the gate. The bag inspection reviews the size, the type of bag you are bringing in, and the content inside. If any issues come up during the bag inspection, you won’t be able to bring it into the stadium.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at the Charlotte Knights Ballpark?

The Charlotte Knights ballpark does not offer any locker storage unit for fans to use to leave their bags when attending a game there. If you can’t bring your bag into the ballpark after the bag inspection, you will be asked to return it to your car or surrender it at the gate if you want to enter the stadium.

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, there are nearby bars and hotels that you can see if they can watch your bag. Most hotels and bars charge a small bag-holding fee if they have the space to store your bag.
