Toyota Stadium (Previously Pizza Hut Park), out at 9200 World Cup Way, Frisco, TX 75033, is home to the MLS team, FC Dallas. Along with hosting the MLS team, the venue is also home to the National Soccer Hall of Fame, which makes it a popular destination for MLS fans to visit from out of state. Toyota Stadium has a clear bag policy, which means transparent bags that don’t exceed 14″ x 6″ x 14″ can enter the facility.
Here are the Toyota Stadium bag policy tips for your next soccer game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.
Approved Bags
Toyota Stadium has a strict clear bag policy, so plan to bring a transparent bag to the game. Here are some types of clear bags that can enter the venue.
- A clear tote bag that does not exceed 14″ x 6″ x 14″
- Transparent Cinch bag that does not exceed 14″ x 6″ x 14″
- A ziplock bag
- Medical bags/ Diaper bags (Tote style is acceptable)
- Transparent fanny pack
- A small clutch purse that does not exceed 5.5″ x 8.5″. As a note, this does not need to be see-through, but consider that the staff will have to review this bag for a longer time than a clear bag.
My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience
I’ve been to a few different MLS venues that have the same bag policy at Toyota Stadium. From my experience, I’ve never had an issue bringing my clear fanny pack to these venues. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, so it is much smaller that the max size that venues permit to enter.
Below is a video of me going into more detail on why I recommend this type of bag.
Consider purchasing a single-compartment clear bag for your next FC Dallas match!
How Does the Toyota Stadium Staff Review Your Bag?
Fans coming to Toyota Stadium to catch a soccer game will go through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Fans with a bag will be instructed to line up in the bag line check at the entrance. Along with passing through the metal detector, fans will give their bag to the security team for a formal inspection to ensure they can enter the stadium. The check includes making sure the bag is not too big and does not contain any prohibited items inside of it.

What Happens Next If You Can’t Bring Your Bag into Toyota Stadium?
You have two options if your bag can’t enter Toyota Stadium with you for any reason. Your first option is to bring your bag back to your car and leave it inside if it can’t enter the stadium.
If your bag can’t enter the facility and you don’t have a vehicle to leave your stuff in, your second option is to see if a nearby hotel or restaurant can watch your property. There are a handful of hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the soccer venue that you can check out. As a note, there is no guarantee that these places can hold onto your stuff, but if they can, they charge a small fee to hold onto your property.
