PPG Paints Arena is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins NHL team at 1001 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219. The PPG Paints Arena bag policy only allows small wallets/wristlets that don’t exceed 4″ x 6″ x 1″ in size to enter the venue. Besides allowing fans to bring small wallets/wristlets into the venue, fans can also bring medical and diaper bags into the arena. How Does the PPG Paints Arena Security Staff Review Bags?
Fans heading to PPG Paints Arena for a Pens game will go through a metal detector screening at the gate before entering the stadium for their event. Fans who have a bag with them will have that go through a bag inspection check at the gate. The general rule at PPG Paints Arena is that no bags (except for medical bags) can come into the venue. Unless you have a medical/diaper bag, you can expect your bag not to be allowed inside the venue.

Is There a Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at PPG Paints Arena?
There is no official locker storage area for fans if their bags can’t enter PPG Paints Arena for a game. Therefore, you must leave your bags in your car in the parking lots before heading to the venue.
If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel or bar can watch your stuff. PPG Paints Arena is in downtown Pittsburgh, so there are plenty of bars and hotels within walking distance of the arena that you can see if they will watch your bags. Most places charge a few dollars to watch bags for fans who can’t bring them into the arena. However, it is worth remembering that hotels and bars are not affiliated with the Penguins, so they are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
