PNC Field is home to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Triple-A Minor League Baseball team for the New York Yankees MLB team. The bag policy at the venue allows fans to bring one clear single-compartment bag into the ballpark for games. Fans can also bring in a small purse and a similar bag that does not exceed 9″ x 7.5″ x 6″ in size.

Fans arriving at PNC Field for a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders baseball game will undergo a metal detector screening before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will have one of the venue’s staff review their bag. The bag inspection may result in taking certain items out of your bag to allow the staff member to check everything thoroughly. If there is no problem with the bag you are attempting to bring into the ballpark, you will get it back to enter the stadium.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Ballpark?

There is no official locker storage option for fans at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders ballpark. Therefore, to avoid that problem, plan on only bringing a clear single-compartment bag into the venue. Also, you can bring in a small wristlet or similar type of small bag into the venue.

 

If you take public transportation and need a place to store your bag, see if a nearby hotel can watch it. There are numerous hotels within walking distance of the ballpark that you can visit. Most hotels charge a small bag-holding fee if they can watch your bag for you while you are at the game.

PNC Field parking lots open up two hours before the first pitch. Parking rates cost about $7 but can increase for specific events. Parking operates on a first come and first served basis.

 

Fans heading to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders ballpark can’t bring outside food and drinks. Therefore, if you want to eat at the game, you will need to get something from the concession stands.
