Peoples Natural Gas Field Bag Policy

Peoples Natural Gas Field is home to the Altoona Curve Double-A Minor League Baseball team at 1000 Park Ave, Altoona, PA 16602. The bag policy at the ballpark permits fans to bring one bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″ x 8″ in size. All bags that fans try and bring into the venue will go through a security inspection at the gate.

Here is the complete Peoples Natural Gas Field bag policy guide for your next Altoona Curve baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

While Peoples Natural Gas in 2023 does not require the bag to be clear, more stadiums around the league are adopting that policy. So, even if the rule does not change to a clear bag policy, bringing one to the ballpark will result in a faster security check. Below are the different types of bags you can bring to the stadium for an Altoona Curve game.

  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″ 8″
  • Medical bags
  • Small clutch purses and wristlets
  • ADA-specific bags
  • Backpacks
  • Fanny packs
  • Tote bags
  • Purses

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

From my experience, I’ve had no issues bringing my clear fanny pack to any stadium that I’ve visited. My clear fanny pack measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ in size, so it is far below the size limit at Peoples Natural Gas Field. One reason why I like bringing this bag to stadiums is that it is easy to wear across my chest as I walk around the stadium.

Below is my video recommending what clear bag to bring into stadiums.

Additional Information for an Altoona Curve Baseball Game

There is a parking garage that fans can use beyond the left field on Park Ave for a baseball game. Parking rates are $3k per game, but the rates can increase for various reasons. Parking operates on a first-come and first-served basis, so plan to arrive at least an hour before the first pitch to get a spot.

Fans can’t bring any outside food or beverages into the stadium. Thus, if you want to eat at the game, you’ll need to go to the concession stands in the concourse. Visit the Peoples Natural Gas Field Food guide for more information.
