Louisville Slugger Field is home to the Louisville Bats Triple-A Minor League Baseball team for the Cincinnati Reds MLB squad. The bag policy at Louisville Slugger Field allows fans to bring small bags into the venue. However, the team and organization recommend that other than diaper bags and small purses, fans should refrain from bringing a bag into the venue since their policy is stricter than other MiLB places.
Here is the complete Louisville Slugger Field bag policy guide for your next Louisville Bats baseball game.
How Does the Louisville Slugger Field Team Review Bags?
Fans arriving at Louisville Slugger Field for a baseball game will have a security inspection at the gate before entering the stadium. Fans with a bag will have an additional securing screening at the gate. The bag inspection reviews both the size of the bag and the content inside of it.
Buy a clear single-compartment bag for your next Louisville Bats baseball game! You can only bring small bags into the venue for a baseball game. Therefore, try and bring a small clear fanny pack or something similar that won’t cause problems with security at the gate. For the most part, the team tends to discourage fans from bringing bags into the venue, so only bring a small bag if needed. Below are the types of bags you can bring into the stadium.
- A small clear single-compartment bag. A clear fanny pack will be a wise choice if you have that as an option
- Small wristlets/wallets
- Small purses
- Diaper bags
- Medical Bags
- ADA bags
What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into Louisville Slugger Field?
Some items can’t enter Louisville Slugger Field with fans for a game. Some things the stadium staff won’t allow inside the venue are below. Visit the team’s official ballpark guide for the most up-to-date information.
- Aerosol cans
- Air horns and other noisemakers
- Chairs
- Drums
- Flares
- Outside food and drink. However, fans can bring one factory-sealed water bottle to the venue
- Laser pointers
- Streamers
- Weapons of any kind
Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at Louisville Slugger Field?
Louisville Slugger Field does not offer any storage for bags for fans if they can’t bring their bag into the ballpark. Therefore, unless you have a small type of bag or medical bag that needs to come with you to the game, plan on leaving your bag in your car before walking to the venue.
If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel, brewery, or restaurant can watch your stuff. Most places charge a small bag-holding fee for fans to watch their things while at a game. However, be aware that the fan accepts all responsibility if their bag is lost, damaged, or stolen if they leave their bag in these places.
Parking and Food Information for a Louisville Bats Baseball Game

Also, there is street parking after 6:00 PM on weekdays and on weekends. Be sure to read the signs on the street to make sure you can park on the road for your game, though.
Fans can only bring one factory-sealed water bottle into the venue for a game. Otherwise, all other outside food and drinks can’t come into the stadium with them. If you want to eat at the game, you’ll need to pick up something from the concession stands at the venue.
