Lincoln Financial Field Bag Policy

Lincoln Financial Field is home to the NFL team, Philadelphia Eagles, at One Lincoln Financial Field Way, Philadelphia, PA 19148. The bag policy at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Stadium is that clear plastic bags that don’t exceed 12″ x6″ x12″ can enter. Along with the clear bag policy of 12″ x6″ x12″, fans can also bring in small handbags and clutches that don’t exceed 4.5″ x6.5″.

Here is the Lincoln Financial Field Bag Policy guide for your next football game, concert, or event! I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

More NFL venues are moving towards a clear bag policy, so getting one now gets you into more stadiums. Here are some bags fans can bring into the venue for their next event.

  • A clear one-gallon Ziplock bag
  • Small clutches/purses that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″.
  • A transparent single-compartment bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • A clear fanny pack
  • Medical bags/diaper bags

My Clear Bag Recommendation + My Experience

The Bag I Recommend

I have had several community members talk to me about their bag experience at Lincoln Financial Field for a Taylor Swift Concert. Each said the staff only allows clear single-compartment bags to enter the venue. Some even brought a clear fanny pack to the stadium and had no problems with that at the bag check area. Since I’ve been to plenty of stadiums with my clear fanny bag and have had zero issues getting it through the bag check process, I always recommend it to anyone who needs to bring a bag to the game.

Below is a video of me explaining why I recommend bringing a clear fanny pack to venues these days.

Consider purchasing a single-compartment clear tote bag for your next Philadelphia Eagles game!

How Does the Lincoln Financial Field Staff Review Your Bag?

How Does the Lincoln Financial Field Staff Review Your Bag

Fans going to the football stadium in Philadelphia for an NFL game or concert will go through a metal detector before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will go through a separate security check to review their bag. The bag inspection includes reviewing the size of the bag and the content inside to ensure it can enter the venue. If there are no issues with your bag or the items inside, the security team will give it back to you to enter the stadium with you.

What Happens If Your Bag Is Too Big to Enter Lincoln Financial Field?

If your bag can’t enter Lincoln Financial Field, you’ll need to bring it back to your car and leave it inside. From there, you must get back in line to enter the stadium without your bag.

If you take public transportation to Lincoln Financial Field and don’t have a car to leave your bag in, you can always see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. Most hotels charge a small fee to hold onto bags and stuff while fans attend a Philadelphia Eagles game. However, be aware that hotels only have a limited amount of space in their storage closet to hold onto bags, so consider getting to one of the nearby hotels 1.5 to 2 hours before your event to grab space for your bag.
