FNB Field is home to the Harrisburg Senators Double-A Minor League Baseball team at 245 Championship Way, Harrisburg, PA 17101. The bag policy at the ballpark only allows fans to bring in medical bags, diaper bags, and single-compartment clear bags that don’t exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″ in size. However, traditional backpacks and similar non-clear bags can’t come into the stadium for personal use.
Here is the complete FNB Field bag policy guide for your next Harrisburg Senators baseball game! I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.
Approved Bags
FNB Field, like most other MiLB ballpark, has a clear bag policy for fans to adhere to if they want to bring a bag to the game. However, there are minor exceptions to the clear bag rule policy. Below are the different types of bags fans can bring into the stadium.
- A single-compartment clear bag that does not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- A clear ziplock bag/freezer bag
- Diaper bag
- Medical bag
- ADA bag
- Small wristlets and similar types of bags that fit in the palm of your hand
My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience
I’ve been to stadiums that have a similar bag policy to FNB Field. From my experience, bringing a clear fanny pack to these venues won’t be a problem. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″. I’ve never been to a stadium with it that it wasn’t allowed to come in with me for a game.

How Does the FNB Field Security Team Review Bags?
Fans arriving at FNB Field for a baseball game will undergo a security inspection at the gate before scanning their tickets for entry. Fans who have a bag with them will have that go through an additional security check at the gate. The security team may ask you to take out certain items from your bag during the inspection to help them with their review. If there are no problems with your bag or the things inside, you can bring it into the ballpark for a game.
What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into FNB Field?
Fans planning their next baseball trip to FNB Field for a game should know that certain items can’t come into the stadium with them. Some of those items are below. Be sure to visit the team’s FAQ guide to get the complete breakdown of the prohibited items.
- Outside food and drinks
- Drones
- Laser pointers
- Non-approved clear bags. For example, traditional backpacks, coolers, laptop bags, etc., can’t come into the stadium
- Clear bags that exceed the size of 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- Animals not for ADA purposes
- Weapons of any kind
- Drugs
Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans at the FNB Field?
There is no on-site locker storage unit for baseball fans to store their bag in if they can’t bring them into the stadium. Therefore, if you don’t have a clear bag, leave them in your car before walking to the stadium’s entry gates. Otherwise, a backpack or cooler can’t come into the stadium with you.
Parking and Food Information for a Harrisburg Senators Baseball Game
Parking rates cost about $5 in the main parking lot on City Island. General parking operates on a first-come and first-served basis. You can expect to pay around $25 for a spot for bus parking.
Fans can’t bring any outside food or drinks into the stadium. Therefore, if you want to eat at the game, you will need to get something from the concession stands. Visit the FNB Field Food Guide for more information. Also, it is worth noting that some of the food options may be different when you visit since the menu updates yearly.
