Exploria Stadium Bag Policy

Exploria Stadium is home to the MLS Orlando City SC and NWSL Orlando Price teams at 655 W Church St, Orlando, FL 32805. The bag policy at the venue for an MLS/NWSL game is that clear single-compartment tote bags that don’t exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″ can enter. Along with that, small bags, like purses, can enter the venue as long as they don’t exceed the size of 4.5″ x 6.5″.

Approved Bags

As a reminder, you want to have a bag that is single-compartment, clear, and does not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″. Here are some other types of bags that can enter the arena.

  • A clear single-compartment tote-like bag that does not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″
  • A clear fanny pack
  • Small clutches and similar types of bags that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • Any ADA-specific bag
  • Diaper bags (The staff prefers if these bags are clear, but some exceptions can occur at the gate if you need to bring in something for your child that may exceed the size limit or clear bag policy)

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

The bag policy at Exploria Stadium is the same at most MLS venues I’ve been to. When I brought my clear fanny pack to Red Bull Arena for a game, I didn’t have any problems getting that through the back check process. Exploria Stadium has the same bag policy as Red Bull Arena, so there wouldn’t be any problems bringing a clear fanny pack to the venue. In fact, my clear fanny pack (11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″) has never been rejected during any bag inspection check, so I always recommend it to others.

Below is a video of me going into more detail on why I recommend this type of bag.

Consider purchasing a single-compartment clear tote bag for your next MLS/NWSL match in Orlando!

How Does the Exploria Stadium Staff Review Your Bag?

How Does the Exploria Stadium Staff Review Your Bag

Fans coming to Exploria Stadium for an MLS/NWSL match will proceed through a metal detector before scanning their ticket to enter the venue. Fans with a bag will go into a slower security check line for people who also have a bag with them. Along with the metal detector check for the fan, the bag goes through a separate security check to ensure it does not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″, is a single-compartment bag, and does not contain prohibited items. If there are no issues with your bag, you’ll get it back. If there are issues, the security team won’t allow it to enter the stadium with you.

What Happens If Your Bag Is Too Big to Enter Exploria Stadium?

If your bag can’t come into Exploria Stadium with you, you must bring it back to your car and leave it inside. From there, you will return to the entrance to go through the metal detector again and scan your ticket.

If you took public transportation to the venue and didn’t have a car to leave your stuff in, see if a nearby hotel or restaurant can hold onto your property. There are several hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the MLS/NWSL venue that you can see if they will watch your stuff. Most charge a small fee to hold onto your bag while you are at the game.
