Enterprise Center Bag Policy

Enterprise Center (previously Scottrade Center and Savvis Center) is home to the St. Louis Blues NHL team at 1401 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103. The Enterprise Center bag policy rule allows single-compartment bags that don’t exceed 16″ x 16″ into the arena. Fans can also bring in a small clutch bag with a clear single-compartment bag as long as that does not exceed 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″. However, the bags that can’t enter the arena with fans are non-clear backpacks, coolers, laptop bags, and any type larger than 16″ x 16″.

Here is the complete Enterprise Center bag policy guide for your next event! I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

The only non-clear bags that can enter the venue are diaper, medical, parental, and small clutch bugs. Below are the bags that can come into the venue with fans.

  • A clear ziplock bag / one-gallon clear bag
  • Any ADA-specific bag
  • A small clutch bag / small clutch purse that does not exceed 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″. Generally, this type of bag does need to be clear, but consider bringing in one if possible.
Diaper bags / Medical Bags / Parent bags / Childcare bags. As a note, these bags don’t need to be clear, but consider bringing in a clear bag to avoid any issues at the gate with security.
  • A clear fanny pack/tote bag
  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

I’ve been to numerous venues with my clear fanny pack and have never had an issue getting it through the bag check inspection. My clear fanny pack measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, far below the maximum size limit that venues permit. Also, since the bag is clear, it can enter stadiums via their clear bag policy. Finally, I prefer this type of bag since it is light enough to wear and carry.

Below is a video of me explaining why I recommend this type of bag.

How Does the Enterprise Center Security Team Review Bags?

How Does the Enterprise Center Security Team Review Bags

Fans attending an event at Enterprise Center will undergo a quick metal detector screening at the entry gate before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will go through a bag inspection at the entrance. The bag inspection reviews the inside and outside of the bag, along with the size of it. Assuming that the bag you are trying to bring into the venue does not violate the bag policy or has prohibited items inside, you will get it back to enter the arena with.

Fans heading to Enterprise Center for an event should know that certain items can’t enter the arena. Some things the security team won’t allow inside the venue are below. Visit Enterprise Center’s official fan guide section for the complete list of prohibited items.

  • Bags that exceed 16″ x 16″
  • Non-compliant types of bags that are not clear. That includes backpacks, fanny packs, hard-sided coolers, mesh bags, camera cases, and laptop bags. Essentially, any non-clear bag that has multiple compartments or is larger than 16″ x 16″ can’t enter the venue.

  • Drones
  • Outside food and drinks
  • Weapons of any kind

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Enterprise Center?

There is no on-site bag check or locker storage area at Enterprise Center for fans to use if their bag can’t come into the arena with them. If your bag can’t go into the venue with you, you can bring it back to your car and leave it in there.

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in for a game, see if a nearby hotel or bar can watch your stuff. With the venue being in downtown St. Louis, you will find plenty of bars and hotels within walking distance of the hockey venue to see if they can watch your stuff. Most hotels and bars charge a small bag fee to hold onto bags, so plan to have cash with you to pay for that service. Also, consider leaving a tip to the hotel or bar staff once you pick up your bag after your game.
