Crypto.com Arena (before it was known as Staples Center) is home to multiple professional sports teams in LA. Those teams include the NBA Los Angeles Lakers, NBA Los Angeles Clippers, NHL Los Angeles Kings, and WNBA Los Angeles Sparks. The bag policy for any of these games or events is small clutches and wallets that don’t exceed 5″ x 9″ x 1″ can enter the facility. Along with that, single-compartment medical bags, ADA bags, and diaper bags that don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″ can also enter the facility. However, traditional backpacks and fanny packs can’t join with the fan on gameday.

Fans going to Crypto.com Arena for a basketball game, hockey match, or another event will pass through a metal detector upon scanning their ticket for their show. If a spectator has a bag with them, that will go through a separate security inspection to ensure it complies with the bag policy set in place by the security team. The assessment will ensure it fits the bag size requirement and only has items that can enter the facility. What Should You Do If Your Bag Is Too Big to Enter Crypto.com Arena?

If your bag fails the bag inspection at Crypto.com Arena, you can bring it back to your car and leave it inside before getting in line to scan your ticket. The bag policy at Crypt.com Arena tends to be strict, so most bags can’t enter the facility.

 

If you took public transportation to the game and don’t have a vehicle to leave your stuff in, consider stopping by a nearby hotel to see if they will hold onto your belongings. Most nearby hotels charge a small fee to hold onto your stuff while you are at the game.

 

However, the main tip is that if you are going to a Lakers game (or another event), know that the bag policy is strict at Crypt.com Arena. Therefore, it might be best to leave any unnecessary bags at home.
