Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Bag Policy

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is home to the Oklahoma City Dodgers Triple-A Minor League Baseball team. The bag policy at the ballpark only permits fans to bring in a clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ in size. Fans can also bring in a small non-clear wristlet, wallet, or clutch bag that does not exceed 7″ x 9″. However, there are exceptions to the clear bag policy and size rule, like if you need to bring a diaper or medical bag into the ballpark.

Most MiLB venues have the same clear bag policy in place, which means getting one today allows it to go into more ballparks in the future. Below are the bags you can bring into the stadium with them for a game.

 

• A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
• A small clutch bag, purse, or wristlet that does not exceed 7″ x 9″
• ADA-specific bags
• A one-gallon clear plastic bag
• Medical and diaper bags. (As a note, the security team may need to review these bags for longer if they are not clear and exceed the size limit. However, you should only bring in a clear bag to limit any issues at the gate during the bag inspection check.)
• A clear fanny pack

 

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

I try and only bring my clear fanny pack that is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ into venues these days for two main reasons. First, my fanny pack is clear, so it will pass the clear bag check that venues have at the gate. Second, the bag is small and is below the size limit that most venues have in place. Therefore, as long as the bag does not contain any prohibited items, it will be able to get into Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

How Does the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Security Team Review Bags?

Fans arriving at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for a baseball game will undergo a metal detector screening before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will undergo an additional security check at the gate. The stadium security staff will inspect the bag along with the content inside of it. They (security staff) may ask you to take out certain items in your bag, especially if you bring in a small purse or clutch bag while they inspect.

 

What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark?

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for fans to leave their bag if they can’t bring them into the stadium. Plan to leave any bag that is not clear in your car before walking to the stadium’s entrance.

 

If you take public transportation to the game and don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. There are numerous hotels within walking distance of the Oklahoma City Dodgers venue for you to visit. Most hotels charge a small bag-holding fee if they have space in their storage closet to hold onto bags.

 

Additional Information for an Oklahoma City Dodgers Game

Parking comes on a first come and first served basis at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Families should arrive at the ballpark at least one hour before the first pitch to get a parking spot for their car before heading into the venue.

 

Fans can’t bring any outside food or drinks into the venue. The only exception to this rule is allowing a clear empty water bottle to enter the venue with fans. Along with that, medical food and baby food can enter the stadium.
