Amway Center is home to the NBA Orlando Magic, ECHL Orlando Solar Bears, and NAL Orlando Predators team at 400 W Church St, Suite 200, Orlando, Florida 32801. The bag policy at Amway Center allows fans to bring in small clutches that don’t exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 1″ into the arena. However, fans can bring in medical and parental bags into the venue as long as they don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x6″ in size. Otherwise, the only bags that can enter the arena are small clutches and purses within the size limit.

Below are the bags that can enter the venue for an Orlando Magic game or another event.
- Small clutches that don’t exceed in size 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 1″
- Medical and parental bags that don’t exceed in size 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 1″. Consider bringing in a clear bag if you want to bring in a medical or parental bag. A clear bag helps with the security review of the bag and makes it faster to go through the inspection.
How Does the Amway Center Security Team Review Bags?
Fans coming to Amway Center for a game or another event will first go through a metal detector screening at the gate. Fans who have a bag with them will go through an additional security check with the staff reviewing the inside and outside of the bag. Due to the strict bag policy rules at the Orlando Magic’s venue, only small clutches that don’t exceed the size of 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 1″ can enter.
What are the Prohibited Items That Can’t Enter Amway Center?

- Drones
- Fireworks
- Laptops
- Laser pointers
- Outside food and beverages
- Animals not for ADA purposes
- Skateboards

Are there Bag Checks or Locker Storage Areas Near the Orlando Magic Arena?
Amway Center has lockers that fans can rent to put their bags and other belongings in if they can’t bring them into the arena. The locker storage is on the street-level plaza near the Big Storm Brewery. These lockers come on a first come and first served basis, so plan to arrive 1-2 hours before your event to get a locker. Any questions on pricing can be directed to the staff working at this locker storage area.
If you drove to Amway Center and can’t bring your bag into the game, consider leaving it in your car. Leaving your bag in your vehicle is the best option, so you don’t have to pay for a locker at the venue.
