Albertsons Stadium is home to the Boise State Broncos college football team. The bag policy at the venue permits fans to bring in one single-compartment clear bag that does not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″ on game day. Fans can also bring in small clutch bags and wristlets that fit within the size of your hand too.
Here is the complete Albertsons Stadium bag policy guide for your next Boise State Broncos college football match. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game.
Approved Bags
Albertsons Stadium, like other college football venues, only permits clear bags into the venue with fans. However, there are some minor exceptions to the clear bag rule. Below are the different types of bags that can come into the arena for a game.
- A clear plastic tote bag no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- Chairs under 18″ wide without arms. These chairs are the type you put on a bleacher seat
- Diaper bags
- ADA specific bags
- Small purses, wallets, and wristlets that don’t exceed 6.5″ x 4.5″ in size. As a note, these don’t need to be clear
My Clear Bag Recommendation + My Experience
While I have not been to Albertsons Stadium, I’ve been to several football stadiums that have the same clear bag policy. When I travel to a stadium that has this clear bag policy that can’t be larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″, I bring my clear fanny pack that measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ in size. I like bringing my clear fanny packs to stadiums because it isn’t bulky and doesn’t weight much as I walk around with it. Plus, I tend to forget my bag when I go to places, so having this bag around my chest means I won’t forget it as I walk around venues to grab food.
Below is my video of me explaining why I recommend this bag in more detail.
How Does the Albertsons Stadium Security Team Review Bags?
Fans arriving at Albertsons Stadium for a college football game will go through a metal detector inspection at the gate before entering the stadium. Fans with a bag will have that go through an additional security inspection at the gate. The review includes a visual check of the bag, ensuring it is clear, does not violate the size limit, and contains no prohibited items. If there are any problems with the bag or things inside of it, the staff won’t allow you to bring it into the arena for the game.
What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into Albertsons Stadium?
Fans heading to the Boise State Broncos stadium for a game should be aware that certain things can’t come into the venue with them. Some of those items are below. However, to be on the safe side, visit the team’s official game day guide listing to get the most up-to-date information on the prohibited items list.
- Any clear bag larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- Backpacks, laptop bags, and coolers
- Charis that are wider than 18 inches and have arms
- Drones
- Tablets
- Laptops
- Tripods
- Umbrellas
- Glassware
- Weapons of any kind
- Outside food and drinks
- Noisemakers
- Laser pointers
- Video and audio recorders
Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Albertsons Stadium?
Temporary locker storage is available at the check-in locations at Albertson Stadium if you need to leave your bag somewhere. However, these areas operate on a first-come and first-served basis, so plan to arrive an hour and a half before kickoff to get a space for your bag before they fill up. Also, the team and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property if you leave your bag in this area during a game.
Another option for your bag is to leave it in your car in the parking lots at the stadium. Fans who plan on tailgating and bringing backpacks and coolers into the parking lot can’t have them enter the stadium for a game. Therefore, if you plan on tailgating before a game, leave those bags in a car before walking to the entrance.
