UBS Arena is the new home to the New York Islanders NHL team. It opened in 2021 and replaced the original venue, Nassau Coliseum, at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY, 11003. Outside of hockey games, there are many events and shows at UBS Arena.

Official Parking around UBS Arena

 

There are five parking area for fans to part at for a game or concert at UBS Arena. Those lots are below with links to them to show where they are on the parking map.

 

 

You can visit the UBS Arena official parking page to learn more about these lots. You can also purchase parking directly at these lots using that link from SeatGeek. As a note, parking prices will vary depending on which lot you park at and the event that is taking place.

 

UBS Arena Accessible Parking

There are numerous ADA parking spaces for fans to use during a game or event. You can find these ADA parking spaces in the stadium’s Diamond, Silver, Belmont Parking Garage, and Emerald parking areas. In addition to that, an ADA shuttle brings fans to and from these parking areas to the stadium.

 

Also, if fans need to drop off any fans who may have disabilities or need additional assistance getting to the venue, you can talk to the parking attendants working there. These parking attendants can help direct you to where you need to go.

 

Do Fans Tailgate Outside of UBS Arena Before Hockey Games?

Should I Take Public Transportation to the Game?

There are numerous ways for fans to use the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) to get to UBS Arena for a game or event. For example, fans coming from Manhattan can take the A, E, and F trains to get to UBS Arena. From there, fans can get on the Q110 bus to get to the Belmont Park Racetrack. However, in late 2022, the Elmont station will be open, making taking the LIRR much more accessible and convenient for fans.

 

Along with taking the train, fans can also use the bus to get to and from the arena. Fans should take the Q2 and Q110 bus routes to bring them to the stadium.

 

Finally, fans can use rideshare programs like Uber and Lyft to get to and from the hockey arena. The drop-off and pick-up area at the venue is on the North Side of the stadium. As they get closer to the NHL venue, fans will see signs signaling where these drop-off and pick-up areas are.
