My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

I’ve been using SpotHero for years and always recommend it to people looking to save money on parking. What I like about the service is that the map updates in real-time, so you can see the current price for parking near your destination. I save about 30% on parking by choosing a lot (or garage) that is a ten-minute walk to the venue. I do that because I’ve found there is less traffic a few blocks away from my destination, so I don’t need to sit in traffic after an event since there will be less congestion or people walking across the street after the game. Plus, you can reserve your parking space beforehand, so you don’t need to worry about looking for an open lot when going to the arena.

Scotiabank Arena Handicap Parking Spots

There are only four official ADA parking spaces for fans to use on events. It’s best to call ahead of your event and reserve one of these spaces so you can guarantee to park. Outside the official ADA parking spaces, fans can use SpotHero above to find ADA parking near the venue.

Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?

There is no official tailgating in the parking lots at the venue, but there are plenty of bars to visit before and after the game. Some fan favorite bars include The Polar Bear, Kellys Landing Bar Grill Hub, and Canoe Restaurant & Bar. Finally, fans can also check out the Hockey Hall of Fame out in downtown Toronto too!

Should I Take Public Transportation?

There are plenty of ways to move around downtown Toronto via public transportation. Fans can use streetcars, busses, the train, and the underground tunnels to navigate the city. The arena is accessible on all GO lines via Union Station, so this is the best option to get around.

In addition to official public transportation options, fans can also use Uber and Lyft to get to and from the arena.
