I’ve been to Citi Field numerous times for a Mets and NYCFC match. Lately I’ve been to Citi Field for NYCFC matches, which allows me to try more food at the venue since the line is shorter for these events. Here are some of the best food options to get along with my personal favorites.

My Personal Recommendation on Citi Field Food

My Recommendation on Citi Field Food

I’ve been to Citi Field numerous times. The best food and drinks are out in the center field area at the stadium. The center field area is a great space to eat your food since there are high top tables. My personal favorite place is the Shake Shack in the center field area. I prefer Shake Shack because the food prices at the venue are very expensive and I feel you get the most food for what you spend at that concession stand.

Also, NYCFC plays some of their regular season games at Citi Field until their new stadium opens. Consider tailgating in the Citi Field parking lots before an MLS game if you want to eat and drink before the game.

Can you Bring Outside Food into Citi Field?

According to the official security policy page at Citi Field, fans can bring in one security sealed water bottle into the stadium. Also, check out the Citi Field Bag Policy to see what you can and can’t bring into the venue.

Also, if you are looking for Citi Field parking, you can visit that link as well. Fans tend to tailgate before Mets and NYCFC matches too.

Bars Nearby

There aren’t many food or drink options near Citi Field to visit before a game. Below are the two places that are open to the general public that are at Citi Field.

  • EBBS Brewing Company
  • The K Korner

Conclusion: Citi Field Food

I’ve been to Citi Field numerous times for baseball and MLS matches. I recommend getting your food and drinks from the center field area at the ballpark. There are plenty of great food choices there and there are several tables where you can eat your food at.
