Since opening in 1957, the venue has gone through numerous changes to enhance the game day atmosphere for fans coming to the arena for a game. One of the ways the game day experience has improved for fans is with their updates to their food and drink offerings throughout the concession stands. My Food Experience at Alumni Stadium + Recommendation

I went to Alumni Stadium for a college football game back in 2018 and the venue actually ran out of food before halftime. The game was against Syracuse, and it was the last game of the season. I’ve never been to a sporting event where they ran out of food, so I wasn’t able to try anything at the stadium due to that problem.

 

However, I was able to eat some food outside the stadium via the tailgating festivities, which became important since the food ran out during the game. My recommendation is that if you are going to college football game, try and eat something via tailgating. Chances are very low that the stadium will run out of food, but that did happen to me back in 2018.

Tailgating occurs before every Boston College Eagles football match. Also, if the game is against a big school like Clemson, you can expect the tailgating scene to fill quickly in the parking lots. Therefore, if you want to tailgate before one of those games, you should arrive early to set up a spot in the parking lots.
