MGM Park Bag Policy

MGM Park is home to the Biloxi Shuckers Double-A Minor League Baseball team at 105 Caillavet Street, Biloxi, Mississippi 39530. The bag policy at the ballpark permits fans to bring bags, backpacks, and purses into the venue as of 2023. The policy states that all bags will be inspected at the gate before entering to ensure no prohibited items are inside.

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

I bring my clear fanny pack that measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ into stadiums for a few reasons. First, the bag itself is clear, so it will get into places that require a clear bag. Second, the size of my fanny pack tends to be on the smaller size, so it won’t exceed the size limit at venues. Third, from a personal point of view, I like how the bag looks and feels as I wear it, so it is not annoying as I have it on when I walk around a stadium.

How Does the MGM Park Security Team Review Bags?

Fans arriving at MGM Park for a Biloxi Shuckers baseball game will go through a metal detector screening at the gate prior to scanning their ticket for entry. Fans who have a bag with them must have that go through an inspection at the gate by the security team. For the most part, in 2023, fans can bring whatever bags they want into the stadium. The assessment at the entrance is more about ensuring no prohibited items are inside it.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans at MGM Park?

There is no on-site locker storage at MGM Park for fans to use if they can’t bring their bag into the ballpark. For the most part, your bag shouldn’t have any issue entering the stadium unless it has restricted items inside it. Thus, if your bag or things inside of it can’t go into the ballpark, you will need to bring it back to your car and leave it there before walking back to enter the venue.

 

Parking and Food Information for a Biloxi Shuckers Baseball Game

There are over 8,500 parking spaces within walking distance of the ballpark for fans to use when heading to the Biloxi Shuckers ballpark. Parking operates on a first come and first served basis, so plan to arrive an hour or so before your event to get a parking spot near the stadium.
