AT&T Field Bag Policy

AT&T Field is home to the Chattanooga Lookouts Double-A Minor League Baseball Team at 201 Power Alley, Chattanooga, TN 37402. The bag policy at the ballpark permits fans to bring in one clear single-compartment bag for a game. Fans can also bring a small clutch or similar type of bag with that clear bag into the ballpark for a game.

Here is the AT&T Field bag policy guide for your next Chattanooga Lookouts minor league baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

The Chattanooga Lookouts ballpark, like most other MiLB venues across the United States, only have a clear bag-only policy. Below are the types of bags that can come into the stadium with fans.

  • A clear single-compartment bag. However, the team’s website doesn’t specify the size limit for these bags, but most ballparks operate around a 12″ x 6″ x 12″ size limit. Therefore, use that as a baseline if you are looking to bring a clear bag into the venue and don’t want it to be too big
  • A clear Ziplock gallon bag
  • ADA bags
  • Medical bags
  • Diaper bags
  • A small clutch bag, purse, wristlet, wallet, etc. As a note, these don’t need to be clear but should roughly be the size of your hand

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

From my experience, I’ve never had a problem getting my clear fanny pack into a stadium with a similar bag policy as AT&T Field. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, which makes it small. Also, since the bag is clear and small, it makes it easy for the security team to review and approve the bag at the gate.

Below is my video recommending what clear bag to bring into stadiums.

How Does the AT&T Field Security Team Review Bags?

Baseball fans arriving at AT&T Field for a Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game will go through a metal detector screening at the entrance before entering the stadium. Fans who have a bag with them will have a team security official review their bag in addition to the standard metal detector screening check. The bag check reviews the type of bag you are attempting to bring into the ballpark, along with the content inside of it. If there are no issues with your bag or the items inside, you can bring them into the stadium.

What are the Prohibited Items that Fans Can’t Bring into AT&T Field?

Fans heading to AT&T Field for a Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game should know that certain things can’t come into the stadium with them. Some of those items that can’t go into the stadium are below. Visit the team’s A-Z guide for the most up-to-date information on the restricted items.

  • Animals not for ADA purposes
  • Outside food or drinks. However, fans can bring medical food to the venue
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Drugs
  • Non-approved bags. For example, fans can’t bring backpacks, laptop bags, tote bags, or anything similar that is not clear

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at the Chattanooga Lookouts Ballpark?

There is no official bag locker storage area at the stadium for fans to use if they can’t bring their bag into the game. Therefore, if you can’t bring your bag into the game, you will need to bring it back to your car. After that, you can head back to the stadium to enter the stadium after another security check.

If you did not drive to the ballpark and had no car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. There are plenty of hotels within walking distance of the venue that you can see if they can watch your bag for you. Most hotels charge a small bag-holding fee if they have space to watch bags.

Additional Information for a Chattanooga Lookouts Game

Gameday parking at The Chestnut and 3rd Street Garage goes for $5. Parking operates on a first come and first served basis.

Fans can’t bring any outside food or drinks into the ballpark unless it is for medical reasons. Therefore, if you want to eat at the game, you will need to get something from the ballpark’s concession stands. Visit the AT&T Field Food Guide to see what the stadium offers.
