Admiral Fetterman Field Bag Policy

Admiral Fetterman Field is home to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos minor league baseball team at 351 West Cedar Street, Pensacola, FL 32502. The ballpark has a strict bag policy that only allows medical, ADA, and diaper bags to enter the venue with fans for a game. Otherwise, all traditional backpacks, fanny packs, laptop bags, and so on can’t go into the venue if they don’t fall into that health category exception.

Here is the Admiral Fetterman Field bag policy guide for your next Pensacola Blue Wahoos baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

Buy a clear single-compartment bag for your next Pensacola Blue Wahoos game! While the venue only allows medical bags, consider getting a clear bag. A clear bag allows for a faster inspection by the security team at the gate, but it is not required. Below are the bags you can bring into the stadium for a game.

  • Medical bags
  • Diaper bags
  • ADA bags

My Clear Bag Recommendation

The Bag I Recommend

For the most part, Admiral Fetterman Field only allows medical bags into the venue. If I was to go, I would bring a clear fanny pack if I needed to bring in baby / medical items into the venue. For example, a small baby bottle and formula will fit into my clear fanny pack that is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9.

Below is my video recommending what clear bag to bring into stadiums.

How Does the Admiral Fetterman Field Security Team Review Bags?

How Does the Admiral Fetterman Field Security Team Review Bags

Fans arriving at Admiral Fetterman Field for a baseball game will pass through a security checkpoint inspection before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will have the security team review that at the gate. The security team will only allow medical bags and other similar types of bags into the ballpark with fans. If there are any issues with your bag or the items inside of it, you won’t be allowed to bring that into the stadium with you for a game.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at the Admiral Fetterman Field?

There is no on-site bag locker storage for fans to use at Admiral Fetterman Field if they can’t bring their bag into the ballpark for the game. If the security team doesn’t allow your bag to enter the stadium with you, you will need to bring it back to your car and leave it there. Afterward, you must get back in line and go through another security check before entering the stadium.

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel or bar can watch it for you. The nearest hotel to the ballpark is the New World Inn – Downtown Pensacola, which is less than a mile’s walk. If they have the room to watch your bag for you, expect to pay a small bag-holding fee.

Parking and Food Information for a Pensacola Blue Wahoos

Multiple parking lots are all within walking distance of the stadium for fans to use when driving to the ballpark. Parking rates will vary in price depending on where to park, and they operate on a first come and first served basis.

Fans can’t bring any outside food or drinks into the stadium. Therefore, if you want to eat at the ballpark, you will need to get something from the concession stands. Visit the Admiral Fetterman Field Food Guide for more information. Also, when you go to the game, try and go to a promotional night that offers discounts on food!
