121 Financial Ballpark Bag Policy

121 Financial Ballpark is home to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Triple-A team. The bag policy at the venue allows fans to bring in one bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″ x 12″ in size. ADA bags and medical device carriers are the only bags that can enter the venue exceeding that size limit. Otherwise, all other bags that exceed that size limit can’t enter the venue.

Here is the complete 121 Financial Ballpark bag policy guide for your next minor league baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

While there is no clear bag only policy in 2023, more and more venues are adopting that guideline for their stadium. Therefore, getting a clear bag today is wise if the rules change at the minor league ballpark. Below are the bags that fans can bring into the venue for a Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball game.

  • A bag that is smaller than 16″ x 16″ x 12″ in size
  • Childcare bags
  • Medical bags
  • Any ADA-specific bag
  • Fanny packs
  • Tote bag

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

I try and only bring my clear fanny pack that is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ into venues. I use the clear fanny pack because it is smaller than the recommended size, so there won’t be any issues. Also, it is a clear bag, so it fits with the clear bag policy. Finally, I’ve never had a problem getting my clear fanny pack into any ballpark before.

Below is my video recommending what clear bag to bring into stadiums.

How Does the 121 Financial Ballpark Security Team Review Bags

Fans who have a bag with them will have that go through an additional security inspection at the entrance that may include you removing items from your bags for further examination.

  • Bags larger than 16″ x 16″ x 12″ in size. (However, the exception to this rule is if you need to bring in a medical bag or something similar. If that is the case, the security team will thoroughly inspect your bag before allowing it to enter the arena.)

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at 121 Financial Ballpark?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area for fans to leave their bag at if they can’t bring them into the stadium. Therefore, if the security team doesn’t allow your bag to enter the arena with you, you must bring it back to your car and leave it there. After that, you must get back in line for another security inspection before scanning your ticket for entry.

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff for you. The nearest hotel to the stadium is the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Downtown Southbank. That hotel is less than a mile from the stadium. Most hotels hold onto bags for fans for a small fee if they have the space to do that.
