Target Center is home to the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves team and Minnesota Lynx WNBA team. The arena’s address is at 600 1st Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55403. In addition to basketball games, you will find plenty of concerts and events at this arena year round.

Here is the complete Target Center Parking guide for your next event.

Official Parking around Target Center

There are several parking lots and garages within walking distance of Target Center to use for an event. The parking rates in these lots will vary depending on the event. You can visit the official parking page of Target Center, but there is not too much information there on how to reserve parking.

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

I think if you want to save money on parking, you should use SpotHero. I’ve been using SpotHero for years and find I can save 30% on parking prices just by seeing a lot 10 minutes away from my arena. While I have not been to Target Center, I’ve been to numerous venues where I’ve used the SpotHero app to secure parking within walking distance of the venue. From my experience, you can find much better parking prices than those advertised directly next to the arena.

There are ADA parking spots for fans to use at Target Center for any event. Fans should park in Ramp A or B and enter the venue via the skyway level for ADA parking. In addition to ADA parking, fans can also take advantage of the ADA pick-up and drop-off area off 1st Ave and 6th Street. Finally, ADA parking can fill up quickly for certain events, so use SpotHero above to reserve parking before your next trip.

Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?

Tailgating in private parking lots is generally acceptable at Target Center, but fans typically go to bars before a game. Fan favorite bars near the venue include O’Donovan’s Irish Pub, The Depot Tavern, and Kieran’s Irish Pub. Finally, fans also go to Gluek’s Restaurant and Bar, Releve Champagne Lounge, and Brothers Bar and Grill before a game.

Also, be sure to check out the Target Center Food guide before your next visit. Along with that, visit the Target Center Bag Policy guide to see what bags you can bring into the stadium.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

There are plenty of public transportation options to get to Target Center for any event. The venue is accessible via the light rail and has a station one block away from the arena. Look for the Warehouse District Light Rail Station if you plan to use the light rail to get to the arena.

Finally, fans also use Uber and Lyft to get to and from the arena.
