Is there Handicap Parking at the Oakland Coliseum?

Oakland Coliseum offers handicap parking options for fans to use. The handicap section is in the first two rows of the parking lots near the Oracle Arena. A valid parking pass will be necessary for fans to park in these lots. There is no extra parking fee for handicap parking via Oakland A’s parking.


Is there Tailgating at the Oakland Coliseum?

Parking entrances and parking gates open about 5 hours before the first pitch for most of the lots via tailgating. Oakland A’s Parking lot tailgating is limited to the area in front or behind of your vehicle. Fans are allowed to use hot coals for their party, but will need to dispose of them in the receptacles. The O.Co Coliseum do not allow fans to tailgate after a game.

Throughout the week, you will see different times that fans will have to wait to enter the venue. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday games open up one and half hours prior to game time. Tuesday games open up 2.5 hours prior to game time. Friday – Sunday games will have stadium gates open 2 hours prior to the start of the game.


How Much is Parking?

Parking near the A’s Stadium is a bit expensive for a game. Fans can expect to pay around $20 or more to get a parking spot at the stadium. However, fans should look into going to games on Tuesday as parking at the stadium is free. Guest who bring a car are entitled to only one parking stall per parking space and fee.


Should I take Public Transportation?

Fans can take the BART to the Coliseum BART station on game day. It’s a short walk from the station to the venue, so you can estimate around a five minute walk. Fans can also take Amtrak via the Capitol Corridor to get to the game. Finally, you can also take the AC transit bust service that drops A’s fans right off at the game.
