Moda Center (formerly the Rose Garden) is home to the NBA team Portland Trailblazers. The Portland Winterhawks, a junior hockey team, call this venue home too. The arena’s address out in the rose quarter sits at 1 N Center Court St, Portland, OR 97227. In addition to sports games, you can find many concerts and events at this arena year-round.

Official Parking around Moda Center

 

There are over 2,500 parking spaces within walking distance of the Rose Quarter. These garages include the Garden Garage, Benton Surface Lot, East Broadway Garage, West Broadway Garage, and Annex Garage. Parking rates will vary depending on the event that you are seeing at the arena. Visit the official parking page of the arena for the most up to date information.

 

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

My recommendation is always to use SpotHero if you have that opportunity for parking. I tend to save about 30% on parking since I use this service compared to what is advertised directly at an arena. The tradeoff of using SpotHero is that you tend to park about ten minutes away from the venue, so you are not exactly next to the stadium for parking. However, the benefit of parking further away is that you tend to save a lot of money, which you can then use on food and drink at the venue. From my experience, I always look at the prices on this service before heading to an arena if I will be driving and need to park.

 

Moda Center Handicap Parking Spots

There are four ADA parking garages at the venue for fans to use. The Garden Garage has 24 ADA spaces, Annex Garage has 9, West Broadway has 12, and East Broadway has 14. All vehicles need to display a current state-issue disability parking pass or license plate for parking. In addition to ADA parking, Fans can use the pick-up and drop-off area along Wheeler Ave and Multnomah Street. 

 

Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?

There is no tailgating at the venue’s parking lots, but there are plenty of bars around the site for fans to enjoy. Some bars near Moda Center include Russell Street Bar-B-Que, Ex Novo Brewing, Sizzle Pie, and People’s Pig. Finally, Toro Bravo, Border Nord, Piazza Italia, and Park Kitchen are also fan favorite destinations before and after a game.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

There are public transportation options for fans to use when going to the venue. Fans can use the Portland Streetcar Eastside Loop, which brings fans to and from the Rose Quarter. A day pass for adults is $5, while youth and honored citizens run at $2.50.

 

Finally, fans can use a rideshare program like Uber and Lyft to get to and from the venue.
