Can you Tailgate at the Stadium?
Tailgating is prohibited at all official parking lots and parking garages around the venue. Police take notice and carefully observe the action in the parking spaces, so it’s best to head to a bar before the game. Head over to Champions Square which offers music and festivities before the game, but it won’t be your traditional tailgating experience. As an unofficial spot, Saint Fans like to tailgate under the overpass of I-10.

The Saints have seven thousand official parking spots that sit adjacent to the venue for fans to use. Parking at Mercedes-Benz Superdome will cost anywhere between $30-50 depending on the game and day of the week. The parking lots are cash only, so remember to go to the ATM before getting to the venue.
If you have a large vehicle, you can look for parking at Lot 3 which is west of Champions garage. Parking rates for an RV will go for $75 for one parking space. It’s best to arrive early to Lot 3 to claim a spot as these spaces go quick on game day.

There is a public transportation stop for bus routes 84 and 16 that sits across from the venue. Another option if you don’t want to look for Mercedes-Benz Superdome parking is to use a rideshare program like Uber or Lyft to the site.
