How Much is Capital One Arena Parking?


Parking near Capital One Arena can save you money depending on how far you are willing to walk. Fans can find great deals like $10 parking spaces at 625 Indiana Avenue and 650 Massachusetts Ave NW Garage. Each of those parking lots is about a five-minute walk to the venue but arrive early to claim a spot. Other parking garages will vary in price, but you can expect to pay anywhere between $10-$40 for a parking space.

Official parking under the venue is not open to Washington Wizard or Washington Capitals games. Fans can park underneath the building in 6th Street NW for any other event or concert, however. This underground parking garage goes for $30 and opens up 90 minutes before the event.

 

Should I Take Public Transportation?

Fans looking to take public transportation can use the Metro to get to and from the venue. Four metro stations are within walking distance to the venue at Metro Center, Judiciary Square and Archives-Navy Memorial Penn Quarter. Metro hours run till midnight Sunday- Thursday and stay open till 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. 

 

Fans can also use a rideshare program like Uber and Lyft to get to the arena. There are five official pick-up and drop-off lots that surround the stadium from any direction, so you have many options. The areas are 7th and H, 7th and F, 6 and H, 6th and G, and 6th and F.
