DRV PNK Stadium is home to the MLS team Inter Miami CF, and MLS Next Pro, Inter Miami CF 2, at 1350 NW 55th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. DRV PNK Stadium has a clear bag policy rule for fans who want to bring a bag into the venue. The clear bag can enter the venue if it does not exceed 12″ x 6″ 12″. Fans can bring other bags into the venue, like small purses and medical bags as well.
Here is the DRV PNK Stadium Bag Policy guide for your next Inter Miami CF match! I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.
Approved Bags
Below are other types of bags that can enter the facility on matchday.
- A clear one-gallon bag
- Small clutch bags that don’t exceed the size of 4.5″ x 6.5″
- Medical bags/diaper bags
- A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ 12″
- A clear fanny pack
My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience
I’ve been to several MLS venues that have the same bag policy as DRV PNK Stadium. From my experience, I’ve never had an issue getting my clear fanny pack through the bag check inspection. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, which is smaller than the max size most venues allow. I’ve only been stopped once during a bag check to remove my microphone from my pouch in my bag during a check. Otherwise, most venue security officials do a visual check of the bag and give it right back to me.
Below is a video of me going into more detail on why I recommend this type of bag.
Consider purchasing a single-compartment clear bag for your next Inter Miami CF match!
How Does the Inter Miami CF Staff Review Your Bag?
Fans coming to the Inter Miami Stadium for an MLS game will go through a metal detector check before scanning their ticket at the gate. Fans with a bag with them will line up in the bag check line, which does take longer for fans without one to get through. The security team checks the bag to ensure it is not too large and doesn’t contain items that the fan can’t enter the stadium with. Assuming there are no issues with the bag or items inside, you will get it back to enter the arena with.
What Items Can’t You Bring into DRV PNK Stadium for an Event?
Fans coming out for an Inter Miami CF match should know that certain items can’t enter the facility. Some of those prohibited items are listed below. Before coming to your next game, consider visiting Miami’s official prohibited items list to ensure the rules did not change or updated.
- Aerosol cans
- Animals not for ADA purposes
- Bags that exceed the size limit of 12″ x 6″ 12″
- Coolers
- Drones
- Laptops
- Laser pointers
- Outside food or drinks
- Weapons of any kind
- Scooters
- Umbrellas
What Happens If Your Bag Is Too Big to Enter DRV PNK Stadium?
If your bag can’t enter DRV PNK Stadium, bring it back to your car and leave it inside. From there, you can get back in line and go through another metal detector check before scanning your ticket.
If you took public transportation to DRV PNK Stadium and didn’t have a car to leave your stuff in, consider seeing if a nearby hotel can watch your property. Most hotels, in general, can hold onto a bag for you while you are at the game for a small fee. However, it is best to read the bag policy for Inter Miami CF carefully before heading to the arena since hotels cannot be guaranteed to watch your belongings, especially if they don’t have the space to do so. Therefore, you should only plan to bring a clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ 12″ to the match.
