How Does the Dignity Health Sports Park Security Team Review Bags?

How Does the Dignity Health Sports Park Security Team Review Bags

Fans coming to the LA Galaxy venue for a home game will enter through a metal detector at the entrances before scanning their ticket. The security team will ask the individuals to remove keys, cellphones, and other similar items into a basket for a security check as they pass through the metal detector. Fans with a bag will undergo an additional security inspection at the gate that reviews their bag, size, and content. Assuming there are no issues with your clear bag, you will get it back and can enter the venue for gameday with it.

Buy a clear single-compartment bag for your next LA Galaxy soccer game! Dignity Health Sports Park has a strict clear bag policy for fans to adhere to. However, there are some exceptions to the rule. Below are the type of bags that can enter the stadium.

  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
  • Small clutch bags that don’t exceed the size of 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • Medical bags/ baby bags. (Fans should bring a clear single-compartment bag into the venue if they need to bring a medical or baby bag. While traditional medical and baby bags can enter the venue, it will take the security team longer to review them if they are not clear)

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at the LA Galaxy Stadium?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area at the LA Galaxy Stadium as of 2023. Fans should only bring clear single-compartment bags into the stadium no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. If you are tailgating in the parking lots and have items like coolers or large bags, leave them in your car before heading to the venue for kickoff. Otherwise, the security staff won’t allow you to enter with those items.

If you took public transportation to the LA venue and didn’t have a car to leave your bag in, consider seeing if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. There are several hotels within walking distance of StubHub Center. Most hotels charge a small fee to hold onto bags if they have the space in their storage closet.

Parking and Food Information for Your Next LA Galaxy Match

Parking for an LA Galaxy match goes for about $20. If you are attending a popular matchup, like against LAFC, Seattle Sounders, or Portland Timbers, try and get to the parking lot two to three hours before kickoff to get a parking spot. These matchups bring many visiting fans to the LA Galaxy venue, so finding parking can become challenging. Check out the Dignity Health Sports Park Parking guide for more details.

Fans can bring small snacks into the venue for a game as long as it is in a clear plastic bag. Along with that, fans can also bring in a factory-sealed water bottle to the game.
