Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is home to the Major League Soccer team Colorado Rapids at 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022. The bag policy at the soccer stadium is that fans can bring in soft-sided personalized bags that don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″. That means small fanny packs, tote bags, medical bags, diaper bags, and clear single-compartment bags can enter the venue with fans if they don’t exceed the size limit.

While DSG Park doesn’t have a clear bag policy in 2023, more MLS venues are moving towards that. Therefore, getting a clear single-compartment bag now sets you up nicely for if or when the venue adopts this policy. Below are the types of bags fans can bring into the soccer stadium in Colorado.
- A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″
- A clear fanny pack.
- Diaper bags/ medical bags that don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″
- A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
- Any ADA-specific type of bag
- A small clutch bag or wallet no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″
My Clear Bag Recommendation + My Experience
I’ve never had a problem bringing my clear fanny pack to stadiums. My clear fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, which is a lot smaller than what most venues permit. Second, the bag itself is clear, which mean it passes the clear bag policy. Third, I like bringing this type of bag to games because it is easy to wear, is not bulky, and has two compartments for me to store my keys and other essentials in it without any issues.

How Does the Colorado Rapids Security Team Review Bags at the Entrance?
Fans coming to DSG Park for a soccer game will go through a metal detector before scanning their ticket for entry. The metal detector scan will have the fans pass through them one at a time, and any items like keys or cell phones will go through their own check at the gate. Fans with a bag will undergo an additional security check at the entrance. The security team working at DSG Park will review the outside and inside of the bag, along with the content inside of it, to ensure it can enter the soccer stadium.
Does Dick’s Sporting Goods Park Have a List of Prohibited Items that Can’t Enter the Venue?

Is there a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
As of 2023, there are no official locker storage units at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park to put your bag in if it can’t enter the stadium with you. Your best bet on where to leave your bag that can’t enter the stadium is in your car in the parking lot.
