Coca-Cola Park Bag Policy

Coca-Cola Park is home to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs Triple-A Minor League Baseball team. The bag policy at the ballpark is that fans can bring in a single-compartment clear bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″ x 12″ in size. Fans can also bring in small wristlets, wallets, and clutch-size bags that don’t need to be clear. The rule for small wristlets and similar types of bags is that they should fit in the size of your hand. Finally, fans can bring diaper and medical bags into the venue, but they will go through a more thorough inspection at the gate.

Here is the Coca-Cola Park bag policy guide for your next minor league baseball game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game. Finally, there is an affiliate link to Amazon on this page.

Approved Bags

Coca-Cola Park, like most venues in the United States, has a clear bag policy in place. Therefore, purchasing a clear bag today allows that to enter most professional arenas for games and concerts. Below are the types of bags that can come into the venue with fans.

  • A clear single-compartment bag that does not exceed 16″ x 16″ x 12″ in size
  • A small clutch bag, purse, or wristlet that fits in your hand
  • ADA-specific bags
  • Medical bags
  • Diaper bags

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

The Bag I Recommend

I like bringing my clear fanny pack to games these days for the following reasons. First, the bag is clear, which is quickly becoming the norm at almost every venue I go to now. Second, the bag that I carry is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, which puts it far below what most venues allow to enter. Third, I find wearing the fanny pack across my chest to be comfortable. The bag is also small enough that I can carry in my hand without any issues. Finally, I’ve never had my clear fanny pack rejected during a bag inspection at a stadium.

How Does the Coca-Cola Park Security Team Review Bags?

How Does the Coca-Cola Park Security Team Review Bags

Fans arriving at Coca-Cola Park will pass through a metal detector screening at the entrance before scanning their ticket for ballpark entry. Fans with a bag will go through an additional security check at the gate, where a staff member will review their bag. The bag inspection may require the fan to remove certain items from the bag during the inspection.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area for Fans to Use at Coca-Cola Park?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area at Coca-Cola Park. Therefore, if your bag can’t come to the venue, you must bring it back to your car and leave it there.

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel can hold onto your bag. The Super 8 by Wyndham Allentown is about a half-mile from the venue. Hotels generally charge a small fee to hold onto bags for fans who need a place to watch their bag while at a game.

Additional Information for a Lehigh Valley IronPigs Game

There are a total of 2,500 parking spaces that are outside Coco-Cola Park for fans to use. Parking rates tend to be around $5. Depending on the promotion during that game, parking may be more difficult. Plan to arrive at the ballpark at least an hour before the first pitch to get a spot.

Fans can’t bring outside food or drinks into the venue for a game. Visit the Coca-Cola Park Food guide to see what the concession stands have to offer fans for a game.
