Bill Snyder Family Stadium Bag Policy

Bill Snyder Family Stadium is home to the Kansas State University Wildcats college football team. The venue has a clear bag policy that permits fans to bring in one bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ in size. Fans can also bring a small clutch bag roughly the size of their hand that does not need to be clear into the venue. However, traditional backpacks, diaper bags, coolers, and more can’t enter the stadium for a game.

Here is the Bill Snyder Family Stadium bag policy guide for your next Kansas State University Wildcats college football game. I also share my bag recommendation on what to bring to the game.

Approved Bags

The Kansas State University football venue, like other NCAA college football stadiums, only allows clear bags to enter. However, there are minor exceptions to that rule. Below are the different bags you can bring into the stadium for a game.

  • A clear plastic tote, plastic, PVC, or vinyl bag no bigger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • Any clear plastic tote bag sold at the stadium’s store location
  • A clear plastic freezer bag
  • Medical bags / ADA bags. As a note, medical and ADA bags are exceptions to the clear bag policy. Try putting whatever you need in a clear bag to help the stadium security team review it faster.
  • Small clutch purses or similar types of bags that roughly fit in the size of your hand

My Clear Bag Recommendation + My Experience

The Bag I Recommend

When I bring a bag to a college football stadium, I bring my clear fanny pack for a few reasons. First, the bag itself is clear, so it checks off that box for being a clear bag. Second, the size of my fanny pack is 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″, which makes it much smaller than what stadiums allow. Third, I like wearing the fanny pack across my chest since it is not too bulky. That means I can walk around the stadium with my bag and not be too uncomfortable.

Below is a video of me explaining what I tend to put into my fanny pack for games.

How Does the Bill Snyder Family Stadium Security Team Review Bags?

How Does the Bill Snyder Family Stadium Security Team Review Bags

Fans arriving at Bill Snyder Family Stadium for a KSU Wildcats college football game will undergo a metal detector screening process at the gate before scanning their ticket for entry. Fans with a bag will have them undergo their security inspection at the entrance. The bag inspection may require you to remove certain things from the bag to help the security team inspect it better before allowing it to enter the stadium. Remember, if the bag is not clear, it can’t come into the stadium for a game unless it is for medical reasons.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Bill Snyder Family Stadium?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area at Bill Snyder Family Stadium to leave your bag if it can’t come into the stadium with you. Therefore, if your bag can’t go into the stadium after an inspection, you must return it to your car and leave it there. After that, you can get back in line to enter the stadium without the bag.

If you plan on tailgating in the parking lots before a game, leave any non-clear bag behind in your car before walking to the entrance. Remember, backpacks and coolers are fine for tailgating, but they can’t come into the venue for a game.
