How Does the Acrisure Stadium Security Team Review Bags?
Fans will go through a metal detector screening at the stadium gates of Heinz Field for football games or other events. Fans with a bag will go through an additional security check to have the stadium staff inspect the bag. The bag inspection includes a review of the inside and outside of the bag, along with reviewing the items inside of it. If there are no issues with your bag, you can take it as you enter the stadium.

Is There a Locker or Bag Check Area at Acrisure Stadium?
If your bag can’t come in with you to Acrisure Stadium, you will need to leave it in your car. One tip is that if you partake in tailgating in the parking lots outside the venue, consider leaving all of those items in your car before heading to the venue to enter it. The stadium staff does not allow things like coolers or backpacks inside the stadium, so plan to leave them in your car before heading to the game.
If you take public transportation to the game and don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel or restaurant can watch your stuff. There are plenty of bars and hotels within walking distance of the NFL stadium that you can visit. Most charge a small fee to hold onto bags. However, hotels and bars only have a limited amount of space to watch bags, so plan to arrive an hour or two before kickoff to inquire if they can hold onto your bag while you are at the game.
