Gainbridge Fieldhouse Parking

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is home to the Indiana Pacers NBA team and Indiana Fever WNBA team in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The arena sits out on 25 S Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. In addition to basketball games, you can find many concerts and events at this arena all year.

Here is the Gainbridge Fieldhouse parking tips for your next event.

Official Parking around Gainbridge Fieldhouse

There are several parking options within walking distance of the NBA arena to use for your next event. Fans looking for the closet parking garage to the venue can use the Virginia Avenue Parking Garage that is across the street. There is a skywalk that connects the parking garage to the NBA venue, which is perfect when the weather gets colder. Fans can purchase parking tickets directly at this garage using this link from Park Whiz.

Also, parking rates can vary depending on the event that you are seeing at the NBA arena.

My Recommendation on Parking + Experience with SpotHero

From my experience using SpotHero, I find better parking rates than what is directly next to a venue if I’m willing to walk about a half mile. Most of the time, the parking options on SpotHero are about 30% less than what the parking garages and lots next to a venue go from. In fact, the further you are willing to park from the venue, the less you will need to pay. It comes down to the personal preference of how much you want to pay vs walk.

Using the app and website is also extremely easy. You just purchase the parking space you want, show up to that location, and then scan the barcode either as you enter or leave the lot. I like using this service because I’m unfamiliar with the roads when I’m traveling, so I want to save time looking for a parking garage. Instead, I go directly to my reserved parking spot, and the payment is already made.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse Handicap Parking Spots

Handicap parking is available in all lots, including the Virginia Avenue parking garage, for games and events. Handicap parking options for games are at a first-come-first-served basis, so plan to arrive early. Fans will also need to present a valid state ID and handicap license sticker to accessible parking. Finally, you can direct any ADA parking questions directly at the parking staff at the venue.

Can you Tailgate in the Parking Lots?

There is no tailgating at the arena parking lots, but there are plenty of bars in downtown Indianapolis to visit. Popular bars include Pivot Bar, Howl at the Moon, and Revel Nightclub and Lounge. Finally, fans can visit Levy Restaurant, Kilroys Bar and Grill, and Hot Box Pizza before and after events too.

Check out the Gainbridge Fieldhouse food guide to see what is on the menu! Along with that, visit the Gainbridge Fieldhouse Bag Policy guide to see what bags can come into the arena with fans.

Should I Take Public Transportation?

Fans looking to take public transportation to the stadium can use the Indy Go Bus as an option. The Indy Go Bus has convenient and reliable buses running throughout downtown Indianapolis to use.

In addition to the bus, fans can also take Ubers and Lyfts to the venue.
